Tentative Schedule
Stable Opens: Friday, Aug. 13 at noon - Assigned Stalls, with overnight security; Secretary’s Office Opens: Friday, Aug. 13 at noon; Cones: Scurry and Town & Country routes will be available to walk after 4:00 pm on Fri. and until noon on Sat.; Social Events: Fri. night- Social and dinner (grilled hamburgers, hot dogs & chicken picnic on the patio) followed by presentation, Competing In Cones Classes, by Deb Bevan. Sat. evening - Awards and Exhibitors dinner after show. Order & Pay for dinners with entries. Fri. night - $8 Adults $5 children under 12. Sat. night Dinner: $12 Adults, $5 children under 12; Please note meals desired on entry form - vegetarian available. Dinner tickets can be picked up at check-in but please pay in advance so we have a good count for caterer. Thank you.

Ring/Warm-up area Footing: Sand ring, sand holding area and grass warm-up area. We have a 40 acre equestrian facility with ample parking and accesibility.

Awards Offered: First thru Sixth Place Ribbons in all classes plus awards for 1st Place in Lady to Drive and Gentleman to Drive. Prize Basket for Carriage Dog Class and end of day Division Awards to Grand and Reserve.

Veterinary/Health Requirements: Negative Coggins within 1 year of show date - copy to be included with your entry form and fee.
Stabling Information: We have two permanent fifty (50) stall barns. Stalls will be assigned starting with the exterior stalls for your convenience. Horses must be stabled if spending the night. Tack stalls available. Fox Valley reserves the right to require stalls due to weather and/or grounds condition. Please note on your entry if you wish to be stabled near another exhibitor.
Misc. Show info: On Sun. the 15th, the Hub Club is hosting a Dirty Harness Fun Day for your enjoyment at the Fox Valley grounds. This event will NOT be ADS rated. Enjoy dinner with us Sat. after the show, spend the night and relax on Sun. with a fun, relaxed event - dirty tack allowed!! Entries for Sun. must be on entry form SEPARATE from the ADS show registration and will be accepted either by Cathy Brock, show secretary, or you can also enter Sun. morning in the show office if you prefer. Contact Julie Kneip at juliekneip@yahoo.com for more details. FVSA is a 501c3 Not For Profit Corporation promoting and supporting equine education with special emphasis on our Youth. All profits go back into our organization to support these efforts. We operate with no paid staff; all events are manned by Fox Valley family members doing volunteer hours. Our facility is Handicapped accessible and we welcome Handicapped Drivers. All dogs must be leashed at all times. All classes on Sat. run in accordance with ADS Rules.
Food Available on the Grounds: Yes, Breakfast & Lunch will be available both Sat. and Sun., T's Catering will be serving starting at 7:00 am in our Clubhouse - Dinners on Fri. and Sat. nite will be provided by a different caterer and must be ordered and paid for in advance with your entries so we have quantities! Thank you.

Directions to Show: Our physical address is: 44W300 Rohrsen Rd. in Hampshire, located at the corner of Rohrsen and Tower Roads. PLEASE USE THE TOWER ROAD GATE !! We are just west of Elgin IL - South of Rt. 20 and West of Rt. 47. If coming from the North, use I-90 exit at Hampshire and take Rt. 20 EAST to Rte. 47 South to Rohrsen Road and turn Right (west) on Rohrsen Rd. From I-88 or 80, come North on Route 47 to Rohrsen Road and go West to Tower Rd. |
