Fees

Entry/Class Fees: $130; Post Entry Fees: $180; Combined Test Fee: $75 (Dressage & Cones); Additional Dressage Test Fee: $30; Entry Fee Refund Policy: Full refund less $50 if before closing date. After closing date, entry fee only less $50 only upon receipt of vet or doctor’s certificate. Stall Fee: $100 Includes 1 bag shavings – Additional shavings available at $10 per bag; Stall Deposit: None; Stall Refund Policy: Full refund only prior to closing date. Tentative Schedule

Stable Opens: 2 pm Thursday, October 20th. No early arrivals on grounds; Secretary’s Office Opens: 12 pm Friday, October 21st; Vet Check: n/a; Course Walk and Briefings: 4 pm Friday, October 21st; Presentation: On the move during dressage test; Dressage: 8 am Saturday, October 22nd; Marathon: Sunday, October 23rd; Cones: 30 minutes following dressage test Saturday, October 22nd; Social Events: Welcome Potluck Dinner, 6:30 pm Friday in the Community Building; Catered Competitor’s Dinner & Social, 6 pm Saturday in Community Building; Silent Auction all day Saturday ending at 6:30 pm, located in the Community Building. Any and all donations for the silent auction are greatly appreciated! Items don’t have to be horse related.

Dressage

Test(s): Training Test #4 POM; Preliminary Test #4 POM; Intermediate Test #5 POM; Tandem and 4-in-hand entries to do appropriate ADS test for level entered.
Ring/Warm-up area Footing: Grass/Grass
Other Dressage Info: All dressage tests held in 40x80m ring including VSE. Depending on number of tandem/4-in-hand entries 40x100m ring. Presentation will be on the move for all levels and vet check will be observed during the dressage test.

Marathon

Terrain: Tree lined trails, rolling hills, road crossings, bridge and culvert crossings, some gravel, dirt and possible water crossings.
Level: Training: 3 Sections; 9-10 km; 4-5 Obstacles
Level: Preliminary: 3 Sections; 11-13 km; 5-6 Obstacles
Level: Intermediate: 3 Sections; 13-16 km; 6-7 Obstacles
Other: VSE’s will do full course according to level entered.

Cones

Ring/Warm-up area Footing: Grass/Grass
Level: Training Clearance: 40 cm; VSE’s 35 cm
Level: Preliminary Clearance: 35 cm; VSE’s 30 cm
Level: Intermediate Clearance: 30 cm; VSE’s 25 cm

Other Information

Veterinary/Health Requirements: Negative Coggins within 1 year of show date. Copy of coggins to be mailed with entry form. Out of state entries required to have a 30-day vet certificate upon arrival.
Stabling Information: Covered barn area with dirt floors, 10x10 stalls. Only 1 horse/pony per stall allowed, except for VSE entries may have 2/stall. No parking allowed in fire lane east of barns. Unloading permitted if done quickly.
Driver/Groom twice around allowed on marathon? (Article 917) Yes, if scheduling permits. Drivers may compete with a second entry if scheduling permits.
Misc. Show info: Dogs must be leashed at all times. ALL horses/ponies must be stabled at night or taken offsite. Safety helmets required as per ADS rules.
Awards Offered: Placings through 6th place. Special Awards
Food Available on the Grounds: Yes, Concessions available for breakfast and lunch, Saturday and Sunday.

Directions to Show: Payne County Expo/Fairgrounds is located 3 miles east of Stillwater on the north/west corner of Hwy 51 and Fairgrounds Rd. Approximately 16 miles east of I-35 on Hwy. 51.
