Marathon: November 5, 9 am; Cones: November 6, 9 am; Social Events: Welcome briefing Thursday at 5 pm. Saturday evening dinner 6 pm some awards will be given.

Marathon

Terrain: Grass track with some sand, dirt roads.

Other Information

Veterinary/Health Requirements: Negative Coggins within 1 year of show date send photo copy with entry. Heath Certificate for out of state horses recommended. Any other health requirements competitors will be notified.
Stabling Information: Follow signs to Stable Area. Tent stabling stalls are temporary with frame and canvas doors All horses/ponies competing and not stabled on the grounds must pay $50 per horse/pony.
Driver/Groom twice around allowed on marathon? (Article 917) Yes Competitors may participate more than once, at the discretion of the organizer and if schedule permits. The second entry MUST be classified HC. And requests must be made by the closing date.
Misc. Show info: Golf carts are available contact Mike Bishop, 803-642-5200, or contact the secretary. All dogs should be on a leash. Please include grounds fee with your entry if not stabling on the grounds
Awards Offered: Trophy and 1-6 place ribbons will be awarded. Also Carolina Challenge awarded to lowest overall combined score in eash class at Pine Tree and Katydid CDE’s. Some awards will be given Saturday at the dinner.
Food Available on the Grounds: Yes from Wed. until Sun. 7 am - 4 pm. Brunch on Sunday. Inquire about tickets with secretary.
Accommodations: All major hotels are available in Aiken. Also Hotel Aiken, 803-648-4265; Annie’s B&B, 803-649-6836. Inquire with the secretary for others.
Camping On Grounds: Yes, please note LIMITED 30 amp hook up for camping. Fee $200 with hook up $75 without hook up. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED contact the secretary. Camper Sticker for all non hock up camping on the grounds. Make separate check payable to Katydid Driving LLC.
Camping Off Grounds: Yes, call secretary for information.
